I’m in Georgia…So I Can Go Home!

Wow! Family, friends, and supporters, I have finally made it to CGA down here in Georgia. My time in Wisconsin was absolutely incredible and life changing, too short as well. I’m absolutely blessed by all the people that I met and got to do life with every single day there.

As many of you know my hearts desire and passion is to save women from sex-trafficking in South East Asia, with a primary focus on the Philippines. If you are a part of my prayer/financial support group through my email than you have received many details describing my heart and drive for the mission set upon my heart.

While living in Wisconsin I lived with 500 international Filipino students, and I became very close with about 20 of them. They have become my best friends and since moving to Georgia I’m talking to them through group chats and FaceTime every day. God clearly showed me through them, amongst many other ways, that the Philippines is absolutely where He needs me. My friends, Chevi, Erms, Winlove, Jhaydei, Beverly, Lei, Naina, Rain, Zybelle, Thirdy, Ram, Dannie, Vince, Gam, Queli, Kim, and Carlos. They are My Friends, My Family, and My Home! Oh how I love them all so so dearly! Each of them mean the world to me and I thank God every single day, multiple times a day for blessing me with the most amazing friendships I could ever imagine.

So when answering the question, Why did I choose to come to CGA?, the answer is very simple and very clear. My Holy Discontent, the one thing I absolutely can’t stand anymore, the one thing I absolutely have to do something about. My Holy Discontent is that it absolutely and utterly breaks my heart to look into a woman’s eyes and see that they have absolutely no concept, no idea, or any grasp of what Love truly is. My desire is to see every woman walk out of their old chains and into a new life with the One Man who will never fail them, the One Man who will never abandon them, the One Man who will never falter, the One Man who will Love them perfectly–Jesus.

Each step I take is a purposeful step to bring me one step closer to God’s calling for me. A step to Wisconsin, a step to Georgia, and then a step to the Philippines, and then another step towards God’s bigger and greater plans. So why did I come to Georgia? To learn everything I possibly can from an organization that knows how to build up and support, and create Long Term Missionaries. So that a year from now when I step onto Filipino soil, I know that I did everything I could to be built up so that God could get me there.

Every single day I wake up, I am continuously humbled that the Lord is allowing me to be a part of something so amazing!! That I get to go save women! That I get to live in the most amazing country in the world, the Philippines! That I get to do ministry in a coffee shop! I’m humbled that I get to be a part of things so amazing in my everyday life, living in Wisconsin, working at Bella Goose, being discipled, living with my Home-my Filipino’s, living in Georgia, living in Christian community, getting to be a part of CGA, getting to be a part of an organization that truly cares for me and above all else lives passionately for the Kingdom!

I’m in CGA so that I can go Home to the Philippines.

I AM SO BLESSED!! THANK YOU JESUS!
