Race Against the 13th Day

My first semester at CGA is coming to a close and I don’t know how to quite put these past three months into words. It’s been challenging, difficult, and at times stressful, yet rewarding, full of growth, and a load of fun. I have been pushed to dive deep into all the different components of leadership, to evangelize on the streets and meet wonderful people, to discover more of my calling, and to become more well rounded in professional development. I have become friends with world changers who have amazing visions for their calling and growing the Kingdom.

 

Center for Global Action (CGA) if I have not yet explained to you, my supporters, is changing what it looks like. Instead of the discipleship program being split into three separate semesters throughout the year, it is now becoming one long eight month semester. I am attending the discipleship program for another eight months seeking deeper preparation in my time leading up to the Philippines. This will run from September to May. I will be taking the Liberation Track, that dives into the injustice of sex slavery in this world, and how we can rise up to end it! This fits perfectly with my calling: to foster safe places of belonging, building confidence, and bringing restoration to women who have been oppressed, through seeing and loving them as who they were created to be, as they discover their true identity, Daughters of Christ.

In order to do this and to continue on into the Philippines, pursuing my calling, I first need financial support. My goal is $1000 a month. I believe in my calling, and even more I believe in God’s dream for me in the Philippines. I’m asking for monthly supporters, even though one time support is warmly welcomed, however the only way for me to continue on is through monthly partners that provide a steady support system. I can’t emphasize enough how important my monthly supporters are, and how much I appreciate you and your passion to help build the Kingdom through partnering with me. I’m overly blessed by all my supporters, my prayer warriors, and my financial partners, you are what gives me the encouragement to keep running!

 

Here is what needs to happen by September, in the next 13 days:

 

5 supporters at $100/monthly

 

5 supporters at $50/monthly

 

10 supporters at $25/monthly

 

I need 20 monthly supporters and I’ll have hit my goal! That is about 2 supporters I need per day to join with me in partnership. Please pray and ask the Lord if this is something that He wants you to be a part of, I’d love for you to join me!!
